As Apple prepares to launch its next generation iPad for the Christmas market in 2013, ten years ago – the iPad’s ‘father’ Steve Jobs – was dismissing the tablet computer as something that would “fail”.
How times have changed. The iPad and its tablet rivals have changed personal computing forever – and all within three years. iPad sales to date have breached the 145 million mark, globally. It is expected by January 2014, total iPad sales to date will have passed well beyond the 200 million mark.
